I didn’t know that Mermaids are still around. I read a long report by someone who watched a mermaid on a rock in South Pembrokeshire for over 20 minutes, about 1833. He was convinced it was a mermaid. And I believe him. He knew about otters and seals and eliminated them as possibilities. There have been strandings on West coast of Scotland and in Anglesey. National Museum of Wales may have some hair samples. I am sure they are not as mythical as most people think!
