With the powerful South Carolina Gamecocks trying to win their third straight title, the 2012 College World Series starts today with the Stony Brook Seawolves (52-13), meeting the UCLA squad. Stony Brook got to this point by beating a fine LSU team in the Super Regionals. Below is a listing of the eight teams competing in the tournament, along with their top player, and the Major League team that drafted him. The games will be televised. Pick your favorite teams and/or draftees and enjoy.
