Hot-tempered Alec Baldwin punched a Daily News photographer in the chin for taking his picture outside the New York City Marriage License Bureau.
30 Rock star Baldwin was leaving the Worth St. office with fiancée Hilaria Thomas when photographer Marcus Santos attempted to snap a picture.
“He was looking mad,” Santos told Daily News. “He said, ‘Step back, step back.’ I said, ‘We’re moving back.'”
Baldwin then allegedly grabbed photographer Jefferson Siegel, which is when Santos told Baldwin to back off. “I knew he was going to attack me. I stepped back, and he kept coming,” Santos continued. “He comes after me, starts shoving and punching me – one time, right in the chin. And then he started shoving me and pushing me. Then he goes the other way.”
However, Baldwin claims a different story. Later, he tweeted his point of view on Twitter: “A ‘photographer’ almost hit me in the face with his camera this morning. #allpaparazzishouldbewaterboarded.”
Baldwin then went to make a reference towards the recent Trayvon Martin case. He tweeted: “I suppose if the offending paparazzi was wearing a hoodie and I shot him, it would all blow over…” Martin was wearing a hoodie after being shot by neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman of Fla.
Freelance photographer Goran Velijic claims to have witnessed the attack.
“He was like crazy, you know?” Velijic told Daily News. “You’re going to get a marriage license, you should be happy. What happened with this guy?”
