By Amanda Shore

Commissioners in Dade County, Miami have voted to unanimously ban the synthetic drug known as Bath Salts. The law isn’t final, and the final vote will occur on July 3, 2012. Police have seen a huge increase in those hospitalized from people high on Bath Salts.

If the law is passed, people who so much as advertise Bath Salts could be charged with a $500 fine and be sentenced to 60 days in jail.
