Pablo Sandoval rape allegations Will Hurt panda image and San Francisco Giants

By DiMarkco Chandler

The Pablo Sandoval image was shattered yesterday when it was learned that an unnamed woman filed a police report claiming that the San Francisco Giant’s third baseman had raped her in the wee hours of the morning yesterday.

Deputy Sheriff April Skalland of the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Department says that the investigation is continuing without an arrest and that her department has turned the case over to the district attorney, who will decide if charges will be filed.

Sources say that Sandoval, the alleged rape victim, and others were hanging out in downtown Santa Cruz Thursday night before deciding to head to the Seascape beach resort where the purported incident took place.

The allegations come at a time in Sandoval’s life where he is adored by fans who call him Panda (describing the way he bounces out to the field to his third base position).

Odds are Sandoval will never recover this soft image again no matter what the outcome; innocent or guilty, Pablo Sandoval has fallen from a kind of image grace.

Panda bears are extraordinarily promiscuous–so no worries–Pablo will continue to be known far and wide by this moniker…

I refuse to believe this and feel that someone is out to be either rich or famous…. until he is PROVEN guilty….my image of Panda stands in tact.
