Action Hero Sylvester Stallone Reeling From His Son Sage’s Death [VIDEO]

Sylvester Stallone’s son, Sage Stallone, was found dead in his San Fernando Valley home this morning, according to law enforcement.

Hollywood and San Diego is reeling from his death.

Sylvester Stallone married Sasha Czack in 1974 and gave birth to two children, Sage and Seargeoh.

It is too early to determine cause of death and no other details were available. His lawyer, George Braunstein has stated “He wasn’t depressed. He was thinking about getting married. He just had his whole life ahead of him.” Braunstein also stated to the Huffington Post that “He was in good spirits, and working on all kinds of projects… I am just devastated. He was an extremely wonderful, loving guy. This is a tragedy.”

Sage Stallone appeared as an actor in several movies including “Rocky V” and “Daylight.”

Sylvester Stallone was in San Diego Thursday to promote “Expendables 2.” Stallone is said to be devastated and grief-stricken; his rep Michelle Bega said “His compassion and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha.”

Los Angeles Police Department told “People Magazine” that there were no signs of foul play and that the idea of a drug overdose is premature.

“It could have been a heart attack or a stroke,” LAPD Andrew Smith told “People.”

Up until Sages Death Sylvester Stallone was having a huge comeback year. In early 2012 Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger photographed in side by side hospital beds. Perhaps it was a publicity stunt, nevertheless, the two actors insist that they were tuning up their bodies in order to perform at their highest level as both will be starring in several upcoming action packed movies.

In May, the 66-year-old Stallone was reported to be gearing up to star in Rambo 5. In an interview with MTV the actor hinted that the film will cover a showdown in Mexico, in a battle against the drug cartels.

In June, Stallone scored a knockout punch in court as he successfully defended a lawsuit filed by Marcus Webb, who claimed that the actor ripped off one of his scripts; the name of the script, “The Expendables.”

Webb felt that the script was very similar to a script he wrote called “The Cordoba Caper.” Apparently, a Manhattan judge did not see it that way, ruling in favor of Stallone and saying that Webb’s claims were without merit. This ruling is significant because Expendables 2 is scheduled to open in Aug. 2012. In fact, Stallone is in San Diego at the Comic-con International convention with the cast from Expendables 2.

On Thursday opening day for Comic-con, Stallone was honored for his breakout performance. The Halls were packed and sitting right beside him was Arnold Schwarzenegger. Perhaps, their hospital visit was a photo opts, nonetheless, they were together and it was Stallone’s time to be recognized.

Nevertheless, today, Stallone is not only coming of the high of promoting his newest film, he’s coming off perhaps the most devastating time of his entire life.

As he perhaps has reflected upon events, you can’t help but to realized that the actor would have given all the accolades, his victory in court, the new movies, back just to know that Sage Stallone was alive and well.

Friday was a very different day for the action hero star.

According to his publicist, Michelle Bega, “Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son.”
