Cee-Lo is hearing voices: They won’t let him come to Las Vegas until 2013

Cee-Lo Green is postponing his “mind-twisting magic and sexified showgirls” Las Vegas show until 2013 due to conflicts with the filming of NBC’s show “The Voice.”

Set to open Aug. 29 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, the theatrical show “CeeLo Green Presents Lobrace” is now scheduled to start Feb. 27.

“It’s always been a dream of mind to be among the great music legends who have had a Las Vegas residency and I was very much looking forward to launching ‘Lobrace’ this year,” Green said in a press release. “But as we move into the third season of The Voice, with my dedicated commitment to the filming schedule and love for my role on the show, I will need to postpone the opening of ‘Lobrace’ to early 2013. Most importantly, to all my fans who have already purchased tickets, please accept my sincerest apology and I hope you can still join me in Vegas next year, so I can properly and finally introduce you to my brainchild, ‘Loberace.’ I thank you for your patience and understanding.”

Ticketholders for the original performance date can exchange or receive a refund for them. New show dates go on sale Aug. 1.
