STRATFORD, ONT. – With his No. 1 album on the Billboard chart, pop star Justin Bieber has received his high school diploma, graduating from high school as of last Thursday.
Although he was not in attendance, Bieber, 18, was one of 192 graduates of St. Michael Catholic Secondary School of his hometown, Stratford, Ont.
Bieber gained his thirty credits to graduate from the Canadian high school through the program e-learning after leaving Stratford for Atlanta at age 13 to make a break in his music career.
“We are very proud of Justin and all of the other 192 graduates of St. Michael School, however, we’re not at liberty to discuss any personal plans or information about Justin or any other graduate,” St. Michael’s principal Tim Doherty said.
Bieber has not announced his plans for college, according to British newspaper The Guardian.
