Southern Nevada Health District will change how health cards are issued

By Kyra Hall

As of July first, the Southern Nevada Health District will change how health cards are issued. Instead of having to go to a Health District building to obtain a health card, applicants can easily complete the training online. However, applicants still need to go in to get their shots, photos and to acquire their cards. This new convenient method of health training is a faster and more efficient way to get a health card. The regulations will be constantly updated online, allowing applicants to be educated with the most recent information available. By September 1st, SNHD plans to phase out on-site training entirely in favor of a system that is more convenient for everyone.  For further information, or to apply for your health card, visit www.SNHD.info.
