Recently a Facebook reader wrote “she couldn’t act her way out of a paper bag.” The author of the quote was speaking about “Twilight” star, Kristen Stewart. While some might beg to differ, the controversy that is presently swirling around the actress lends some credibility to the statement.
After being caught having a fling with “Snow White and the Huntsman” married director Rupert Sanders, 41, Kristen Stewart, 22, is issuing a public apology for hurting her boyfriend and “Twilight” costar Robert Pattinson, 26.
“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” Stewart said in a statement Wed., according to People Magazine. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
The actress was reportedly caught kissing Sanders July 17. “It seemed like they couldn’t get enough,” according to one photographer.
Yahoo Entertainment reported that “Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders couldn’t keep their hands off each other in Los Angeles last week.” The internet news website claimed that they were all over each other.
One of their sources said that “a photographer followed Kristen…, from her Los Feliz home on July 17, when the actress pulled into the parking lot of a deserted building and Rupert, 41, got into her car.”
“It seemed like they couldn’t get enough. Kristen was sitting up with her back against the driver’s-side window, and this guy was kissing her entire body.”
Sanders is married to model-actress Liberty Ross, 33, and have two children, ages 7 and 5. Ross, who played Stewart’s mother in “Snow White and the Huntsman,” tweeted “wow” hours before the scandal became public, according to E!Online.
Despite the accusations, Stewart’s team considers her actions a mere bad decision. But one cannot help but to imagine that perhaps Stewarts acting may not be responsible for getting her work.
“She wasn’t having an affair with Rupert,” a source told People. “It was just a fleeting moment that shouldn’t have happened. She never meant to hurt anyone. She’s a good person who just made a bad choice.”
Stewart has been dating Pattinson since they first met three years ago on the set of “Twilight.”
Nevertheless, with this new revelation, you can bet that we’ll hear shouts like “She’s a horrible actress, who lacks inner fire of warmth,” as some will believe that the only warmth Stewart is putting out is in the bedroom of her next director.
