Penn State Takes Responsibility for Cover Up in Sex Scandal

In a report led by former FBI Director Louis Freeh, former President Grahm B. Spanier, Senior Vice President-Financier-Business Gary Schultz, Athletic Director Timothy Curley and late Football Coach Joe Paternal showed no concern for the alleged victims of Jerry Sandusky.
The finding of recent emails shows that Penn State’s Schultz, Paternal, and Curley did nothing to protect the victims of Jerry Sandusky. The authorities of Penn State concealed and did nothing for fourteen years. They took no action when an incident was reported by a janitor. The evidence now reported shows Joe Paternal was an integral part of the cover up. He knew what was happening and did nothing.

In a Statement today, Penn State Authorities said they take full responsibility for the cover up. The Freeh report shows powerful Officials at Penn State actively worked in the cover up of Jerry Sandusky’s charges of sexual abuse and rape. They failed to protect children for more than a century.

Curley and Schultz now will face criminal charges for not reporting sexual allegations in the cover up of the sex scandal. Penn State will face millions of dollars in Law suits against the college. People are questioning if the new Statue of Joe Paternal should be removed.

One interesting fact to come out of this is that no one spoke to Sandusky or warned anyone about possible problems in the showers.

One important fact about the case is that Paternal was never interviewed about the case before he died. Nevertheless, the Paternal family stated that he was not perfect and should have done more.

Jerry Sandusky was found guilty on June 22,2012 of 45 out of 48 criminal counts of sexual assaults against young boys. Sandusky, 68, is now serving time in jail.

Then why has Graham Spanier not been charged to this day? Don’t understand the delay after all this information points to the top. Seems like he is still being protected for some unusual reason!

Misleading Headline. Taking responsibility but accepting no negative consequences seems to be Penn State’s mantra.
