The Commission on Presidential Debates has released their format for this fall’s presidential debates between President Obama and Mitt Romney.
The first presidential debate will be held on Oct. 3 at the University of Denver, focusing on domestic policy. There will be six 15-minute segments about topics selected by the moderator.
The second presidential debate is to be Oct. 16 at Hofstra University in Hampstead, N.Y. This will consist of a town meeting-style format where undecided voters, selected by the Gallup Organization, will ask questions regarding domestic and foreign issues.
The vice presidential debate will take place Oct. 11 at Centre College of Danville, Ky., over domestic and foreign topics. There will be nine 10-minute segments, which will be similar to the first and third presidential debates.
Each debate is to last 90 minutes and have one moderator.
