Actress Sienna Miller, 30, and actor Tom Sturridge, 26, welcome the birth of their new baby. “Us Weekly” confirmed that Miller gave birth in London over the weekend. Additional details on the child’s name and gender are currently not available. British Vogue reported in their April issue that Miller was preparing and excited about becoming a mom.
Miller is best known for roles in Alfie, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra was named British Actress of the Year for her role as Katya in the film Interview a remake of Dutch film maker “Theo van Gogh’s 2003 movie.”
Prior to hooking up with Sturridge, Miller had been engaged with Alfie co-star Jude Law. However, the relationship to a bad turn when in July of 2005, Law found it necessary to issue a public apology to the actress after having an affair with the nanny of his children. The apology was published by smh.com.au which “told of his ‘sincere regret’ over his behavior, saying he was ‘deeply ashamed and upset.’” The fling was with 26-year-old Daisy Wright while Law was in New Orleans filming All The Kings Men.
Ultimately, Miller and Law were never able to recover their relationship after the scandal and separated in November of 2005. In 2008, okmagazine.com reported that Miller was involved with Balthazar Getting, who happened to be a married man. The publicity prompted Getty to reconcile with his wife, Rosetta Getty.
Miller met Sturridge in 2011, and the two have been quite reticent about their personal lives, though usmagazine.com reports that recently they have “made no hesitation in stepping out in public on several celebratory occasions.”
Sienna Miller has every reason to be excited over becoming a mom, especially since she has been able to put her relationship issues behind her.
Currently Miller is sporting a glittery diamond engagement ring and the couple looks quite happy despite their age difference.
