Second Suspect Remains at Large
In February 2012, LVMPD Patrol Officers responded to a reported shoplifting at a retail store in Southeast Las Vegas. Because the theft involved alcohol and tobacco products the officers contacted the LVMPD Special Investigations Section. This initiated a five month investigation led by the LVMPD Special Investigations Section, with assistance from the LVMPD Criminal Intelligence Section, the North Las Police Department, and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives.
As a result of the investigation federal and local search and arrest warrants were served today at the Sunny Market, 600 West Lake Mead Boulevard. All details concerning the execution of the federal search and arrest warrants will be released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Additionally yesterday July 24, 2012, LVMPD Detectives arrested Nabiail Nage Dhalai, 35 years of age of Las Vegas, on local charges stemming from an associated investigation. Dhalai was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant charging him with: Attempted possession of stolen property – three counts.

Also attached to this release is a previous booking photograph of Mazen Hamou, aka “Mike”. Hamou remains at large, and is currently wanted on felony warrants charging him with: Attempted possession of stolen property – three counts,
Possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to sell, and Trafficking in a controlled substance, eight counts.
Hamou is described as a white male adult, 47 years of age, standing 5’8” tall and weighing approximately 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Hamou’s last known address was the 4600 block of Madera Way in Southeast Las Vegas. Hamou is the owner of record of M-R Beauty Supply and 99 Cent Store, 1935 Fremont Street and co-owner of the Hooka Palace, 1030 East Flamingo Road. Hamou may frequent the areas surrounding those locations.
