Kourtney Kardashian’s new baby girl offers a measure of normalcy

Of all the Kardashian siblings Kourtney Kardashian’s life appears to be most normal. Keeping up with her is like a walk in the park. And now that she’s given birth to Penelope, I imagine that normalcy for her will be an everyday reality. The 33-year-old socialite, has developed into a responsible child toting mom. If she keeps having babies, I can imagine her developing into the family sage. She has above all out grown her family’s television show, “Keeping up with the Kardashians” as she take the role of motherhood quite seriously.

Kourtney’s latest newborn Penelope Scotland Disick, was born last month on July 8, 2012. Penelope is the second baby for Kardashian, and Scott Disick, who are also parents to impressively dressed Mason Disick.

The eldest Kardashian sister chose to a natural birth. No word yet on whether she plucked the baby girl out of her womb as she was reported to have done with Mason.

Kardashian announced her pregnancy back in November. At the time, Disick admitted that baby #2 wasn’t any more planned than baby #1, though surely they’re a bit more prepared for life as parents this time around. “It wasn’t like we weren’t trying,” Scott said. “We kind of just said, ‘If it’s meant to be, it’ll be. ”

Several months after they announced they were expecting, Kourtney announced that she was having a girl. She shared with her fans, “We feel so blessed to be having a little girl and to be able to share this new experience with Mason.”

Shortly before giving birth, Kourtney announced she wasn’t sure she was willing to include the birth on one of her hit E! shows this time around. “I don’t know,” she said in an interview on “The Tonight Show.” “We’re gonna film it again ourselves, and honestly, my experience last time was so peaceful and calm and everything you don’t see in the movies. And I really wanted to share that with people so they knew it doesn’t have to be a crazy screaming session.”

So will we see the birth on the show? Kardashian isn’t sure yet.

Kourtney Kardashian has stayed mostly mum about new baby Penelope since her birth July 8, but now the reality star and mom of two is showing off the new addition on the cover of Us Weekly.

“Nothing could prepare me for how hard I fell in love with her!” she said.

Dad is noticeably absent from the magazine’s cover, which has Kardashian and her two children dressed in white. But inside the new issue, the 29-year-old father of two opened up along with Kourtney about Penelope’s delivery — with the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan present — Mason adjusting to life as a big brother, and the fact that Disick still hasn’t changed a single diaper.

After Penelope’s birth, Kardashian’s famous sisters gushed on Twitter about their new niece.

Kim Kardashian wrote: “She is absolutely perfect! I am so excited to be an aunt again and can’t wait to spoil little Penelope. I know Mason is going to be the best big brother in the whole world. Congratulations Kourtney and Scott. Xo”

Khloe Kardashian wrote an entire blog: “The entire family is literally exploding with joy and have not stopped fawning over our new little girl. And Mason is already loving being a big brother!”

Us Weekly took some amazing pictures of Penelope of which we are not authorized to include them with this article. However, what pictures I could find are included below.

  • Coffee consumption beneficial for a healthy lifestyle May 21, 2013
Can coffee consumption simply benefit health all on its own? Or are there other factors to consider?  Several articles and studies as of late have linked coffee consumption with liver protection, especially against a very rare autoimmune liver disease, primary sclerosing cholangitis.  What strikes me about these articles is their singular focus on the consum […]
