It was Robert Pattinson and not Kristen Stewart who publicly revealed he was dating Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart.” The dailymail.co.uk reported that, “After refusing to comment on their relationship for months, Pattinson finally broke his silence and admitted they were an item.” Moreover, Pattinson told the Sun: “It is extremely difficult but we are together.” Listen to what he said, “It is extremely difficult.”
Painstakingly, Pattinson finally approved of allowing the media to report his relationship with Stewart. His admission came a year after they began dating.
So we can perhaps reasonably deduce that it was Pattinson’s who chose to make the relationship public, and he certainly had reservations.
His recent silence, seems to perfectly fit his wishes then and now.
So while reports and rumors circulating on internet media sites with great frequency, fans appear unable to get enough of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. The problem with all the rumor is that most of them can’t be confirmed. That’s because neither Stewart nor Pattinson are talking to anyone. They’re both tight lipped and unavailable, which consequently means most of the stories we read about the two can’t be validated. In other words, they’re unreliable. Nevertheless, the silence tell us a lot about Pattinson’s condition’s perhaps communicated to Stewart in the early days of the relationship. And judging from all the attention the scandal has received over that last two weeks, Robert had good reason to want to keep his relationship secrete.
In the aftermath, the media has been unable to speak with the two Twilight stars in their effort to update the original story and provide the public with some authentic information.
Nevertheless, certain elements of the rumored stories can provide a general idea of the behind the scenes reality.
For instance, a large measure of rumors claim Stewart and Pattinson are in hiding. Pattinson it seems and plenty of reason to go underground; especially since Stewart has a career outside of their relationship. The actress’ newest trailer “On The Road” has been viewed by more 800,000 fans according to the number of views recorded by “Youtube. Therefore, it may not be too much of a stretch to assume that Pattinson was one of these viewers. If he was, than it has feasibly made him even more resolved to remain not only apart from Stewart, but he himself might be in hiding simply to avoid the embarrassment media attention would provoke by asking tawdry question on her role.
Then there is the New York Daily News picture of Liberty Ross strolling about town without her wedding ring on. Of course we can infer a lot from this picture. Her husband Rupert, it’s been reported, has told friends that the affair was “the worst mistake of my life,” and that he’s worried his spouse of seven years, will file for divorce.
“Liberty is not making this easy for Rupert, not surprisingly,” a source told Radar Online. “She is refusing to see him right now and has not spoken to him about if they have a future together or not.
The filmmaker will do whatever it takes to patch things up. “Rupert is willing to do absolutely anything and everything he can to save his marriage, he realizes this is the worst mistake of his life, and he cannot believe he was so stupid.
“The thought of losing his wife and children, who he loves more than anything in the world, is killing him.”
Other reported rumors claim that Stewart has been crashing with Hollywood producer Giovanni Agnelli while attempting to win back Pattinson; and he on the other hand has been avoiding her efforts, hanging out instead at Reese Witherspoons home in Ojai, CA.
Then there is the story that both Stewart and Pattinson were planning on having a baby together before the idea went up in smoke following the affair with Sanders.
A source close to the pair – who met on the set of the first Twilight Saga movie – said: “They had been talking about having a baby together once Twilight ended, which is what makes this so extra-painful. Kristen knew how badly Rob wanted to start a family, and it was a subject that had dominated their conversations in recent months.
“Rob would be a great father, and having a baby would probably have brought them even closer together.”
Although Kristen and Rob have not released a statement on the future of their relationship, Kristen fears there is no way back for them and their dreams of having a baby are over.
The National Enquirer magazine further reports: “Kristen fears she’ll never have the chance to get Rob back, and that their baby dreams are now totally shattered. Kristen feels so terrible, this is truly a nightmare for her, but there’s nothing she can do to turn back time.”
“If Rob takes her back at this point it will be a miracle, but she knows she only has herself to blame.”
Herself to blame is quite the understatement, and here’s why:
It is quite probable to deduce from their three year relationship that Pattinson has an aversion to having his name all over tabloids. After all, media reports have persistently claimed that it was Pattinson that wanted their relationship kept quiet and out of the earshot of the media.
Perhaps no one knows, but one can assume that it might have been quite possible for Pattinson to work through the problems Stewart’s infidelity engendered. He might have offered her a second chance had she not courted the media the way she did with her public apology.
Pattinson valued his privacy and perhaps felt that Stewart was acutely aware of how he felt about discretion. In his mind she violated one of his most vocal tenets of their relationship, and only has herself to blame for the enormous sadness she claims to be experiencing.
These points can be substantiate by simply comparing their past.
Think about it; their relationship was Hollywood’s worst kept secret according to OK Magazine back on Feb. 23, 2010. And Radar Online went as far as to report that though their romance was the worst kept secret in Hollywood, after Pattinson went public with their involvement, he still attempted to “keep their romance low-profile.”
So perhaps in Rob’s mind, though Stewart’s affair with Rupert Sanders was a betrayal of trust, he may have eventually forgive her temporary indiscretion; but given his penchant for privacy, the move by Stewart to issue what “People Magazine” called “a public apology for hurting her boyfriend of three years: surely compounded, magnified and consequently complicated reconciliation of any kind. It was perhaps the straw that broke the camels back; and a glaring mistake by Stewart, because any rational observer could see the condescension in her statement, which publicly robbed Pattinson of any manhood he might have managed to preserve.
He perhaps could have overcome the public attention by avoiding questions or keeping answers simple. Remember, everyone knew he was dating Stewart, nevertheless Pattinson managed to keep a lid corroborating this perception.
In the early days of their romance it is feasible to believe he had instructed Stewart to keep their relationship secret. Moreover, one would think that she knew him well enough that in spite of the gravity of her infidelity, she had to know that he would not want her to publicly corroborate the scandal.
Nevertheless, Stewart deliberately chose to make use of the media; her plan was to appeal to Pattinson’s compassion with this years most self-humiliating confession of guilt and plea for forgiveness.
It didn’t work! In fact, I believe Stewart’s choice was extremely flowed. It revealed she never really new Pattinson, because wasn’t how he operated. Private apology, Pattinson wanted a private apology but it was too late. He couldn’t coach her this time. And as her message arrived, publicly and inextricable. Pattinson may have felt subsequently forced into retreat. A sigh, followed by retreat.
If Stewart has done any self refection by now, you can bet she wishes she could have put on the breaks. She know’s that her final undoing was “The Apology.”
