Despite Numerous Rumors, Amanda Bynes Appears Photographed Smoking Pot?

There are so many media reports about Amanda Bynes it’s no telling which ones are true and which ones are false.  However, despite numerous rumors, one thing is for sure, the actress was photographed smoking pot using an alleged drug pipe, reports TMZ.

The gossip site alleges she was “driving aimlessly for hours on Tuesday…while smoking out of what appears to be a marijuana pipe.”

In the report, the “She’s the Man” actress is seen smoking from the pipe in the parking lot of a Baja Fresh in the San Fernando Valley, before reportedly heading to a spa for three hours. In one of the photos, the Web site claims that there appears to be marijuana remnants visible in the cup holder.

TMZ claims that the pipe is designed to look like a car cigarette lighter.

These new allegations took place the day before the LA District Attorney asked the judge in her DUI case to address her conditions of freedom.

According to E! Online, the DA officially put on the record that Bynes’ driving license has been suspended at her Wednesday hearing.

Her next hearing is set for Sept. 21 to address the conditions of her freedom and her bail.

According to reports, Judge Revel urged the actress to attend the session, saying “It would seem like Ms. Bynes would need to be here in court on that day.”

This is following her arrest and suspension of her driver’s license and then return of her driving privileges.

If you remember, after Bynes tweeted President Obama on Twitter, which read “Hey@BarackObama… I don’t drink.” The actress continued on Twitter, writing: “Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don’t hit and run,” we said: if Bynes doesn’t drink than she’s got to be smoking something because from the looks of her tweeted message to President Obama, she certainly can’t be well.

In a new interview, her the victim, named only as Kisa, claims that the actress was behind the wheel of the black BMW which rear-ended her Volvo last month.

“Someone could have died if [Bynes] kept driving,’ she told TMZ. ‘A normal person would not get away with hit and runs and she shouldn’t either.”

“She’s like Lindsay Lohan on steroids.”

Bynes is facing drunk driving charges after hitting a sheriff’s cruiser April 6 in West Hollywood.

The 26-year-old actress was arrested about 3 a.m. on April 6 in West Hollywood. Authorities said her black BMW struck the rear corner of the sheriff’s vehicle. She was charged with driving under the influence and refusing a Breathalyzer or blood-alcohol test.

She subsequently denied the allegations on Twitter: “I can’t help but laugh at all of you writing fake stories about me,” she tweeted May 27. “I was not in any hit and runs. I don’t drink so the DUI is false.” She pleaded not guilty through her attorney.

But the Los Angeles city attorney on Tuesday charged her in two separate hit-and-run incidents on April 10 and Aug. 4.

The LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division investigated the Aug. 4 incident on Ventura Boulevard, in which a motorist said a vehicle driven by Bynes rear-ended and damaged herToyota on Ventura Boulevard. The driver said Bynes stopped only briefly, declared there was no damage and drove off.

The woman told investigators her car was damaged and that Bynes failed to provide insurance information or allow police to be called before she left, Lt. Andrew Neiman said.

Lt. Andrew Neiman of the Los Angeles Police Department said investigators determined the Toyota had about $800 in damage, and the actress did not notify police or exchange insurance information as required by law. He said detectives will forward those findings to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office, which will decide whether to prosecute the matter, possibly as a hit-and-run case.

Neiman said investigators determined that the Toyota had about $800 in damage, and that the actress did not notify police or exchange insurance information as required by law.

Bynes faces up to a year in jail if convicted in the earlier case and up to a year in jail for the two hit-and-runs, if convicted.

She will be arraigned in court this month on the hit-and-runs. The charges are related to crashes on April 10 and Aug. 4, said city attorney’s spokesman Frank Mateljan. The file on the April incident was reopened after the August crash.

Despite all the publicity, it’s quite possible that if Bynes wasn’t famous, she might not have had her driver’s license suspended. The only reason she was charged with either hit-and-run was because the prosecutor looked into both cases after they were widely reported. So, in a way, having a high profile may have actually screwed her over.

Nevertheless, it’s hard to have sympathy for a girl who has had so many vehicular concerns over the past few months, and now smoking dope while driving a vehicle.

The Department of Motor Vehicles suspended her license on August 25 after she is believed to have refused to take a sobriety test when she was stopped for Driving Under Influence in April.
