Exactly 5 Reasons Why MTV Canceled “Jersey Shore”

There are exactly 5 reasons why MTV canceled “Jersey Shore.” But before they could seal the deal, MTV had to bag the celebrity personality that ignited and sustained “Jersey Shore’s” success in its early years. In fact, the network put their prize commodity on display last weekend setting up a press conference from the hospital where, you guessed it, Snooki gave birth to her first child, Lorenzo. Once Snooki was in the bag, MTV execs were given the green light to proceed with their “Jersey Shore” agenda.

But the writing was clearly on the wall. 1) The ratings have slipped;  2) the cast’s partying days seem to be coming to an end;  and 3) Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino reportedly has a “sober coach” living with him in the house.

4)In 2011 the controversial show had been banned by the mayor of Florence, Matteo Renzi,  forbidding the cast from filming inside some of the most popular tourist attractions in the city, including the Uffizi and Boboli Gardens. This year, Mayor Dawn Zimmer of Hoboken, New Jersey – just across the Hudson from Manhattan rejected request to film the show in Hoboken.  In May of 2011 they were banned from Italy. In fact, even Snooki and JWoWW’s new spinoff has triggered a wave of banns that  have MTV unsure of how they will address the situation.

But one thing is for sure, Snooki stays and everything else has been unplugged.

5) Six seasons is enough for anyone of the show which never changed. In a few months, The Situation will be begging club owners to give him a few grand to have him come be at their party. Pauly D will keep getting some DJ work, but nothing will match the money he gets right now. Pauly probably has the greatest chance of success. The Situation is the most likely to get arrested and head to rehab repeatedly. They have no talent, except for Pauly so they will probably have to find real jobs.

Looking back, it’s been three years since we learned a person could call himself ”The Situation” — and now, MTV is officially calling it quits on “Jersey Shore,”which has chronicled the antics of the aforementioned Situation, Snooki and the rest of the gang.

The reality series, MTV’s highest-rated show in network history, premieres its sixth and final season on Oct. 4.

The farewell will start early, MTV announced. Starting on Sept. 6 (the same day as the MTV Video Music Awards), the network will air a one-hour retrospective, “Gym, Tan, Look Back” at 6 p.m. Afterwards, the cast will give their first interviews to discuss the final season.

Last season of “Jersey Shore” debuted to nearly 8 million viewers last January; the show hit its rating high in Season 3, when nearly 9 million people tuned in to see Snooki getting out of jail (after being charged with disorderly conduct on the beach).

Now that the show will end after the sixth season, the fun will be to see what MTV replaces it with.

Snooky has to have the ugliest Mexican face on earth she looks like a midget the rest of them looked nothing like the Dallas show they are a motley crew who would do anything to get ahead hoped they saved their money because no major roles on TV or in movies will ever come to them a sad situation!!!!!!!!!! And I am a relative of the owner of MTV no joke sf

“They have no real talent, except Pauly.” No, actually, Vinny is an amazing writer and has a blog full of short stories that are excellent. He’s also a decent actor, and is much more level headed than the other JS cast. He will go the furthest.
