Las Vegas NV. Police Need Help Finding Attempted Rape Suspect

DETECTIVES SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IDENTIFYING SUSPECT
On Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at approximately 10:00 p.m. an adult female was walking in the area of Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road when she was grabbed from behind, held, and threatened with a knife. The victim fought back and suffered minor injuries, but was able to escape her attacker.

The suspect is described as a black male adult who appeared to be in his early 20’s, standing approximately 6 feet tall and weighing about 170 pounds. His eyes were described as being a very light color brown. He was last seen wearing a red “doo rag”, a white crew neck short sleeved t-shirt and Dickie-style long red shorts. The suspect was on foot and ran from the area after the attack.
