LVMPD OFFICERS WORK TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE IN NEIGHBORHOOD
On Wednesday, September 19, 2012 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Officers from the LVMPD Southeast Area Command will join with multiple Clark County Governmental Agencies to improve the quality of life in the Mountain Vista Estates.
As a result of recent inspections approximately 22 letters were sent to owners of residences within the Mountain Vista Estates, notifying them of various health and safety violations. Due to the ongoing nature of these serious code violations, the Clark County Multi-Agency Response Team (C.M.A.R.T.) will join LVMPD officers tomorrow in this inspection and enforcement action.
The C.M.A.R.T. team is comprised of members of LVMPD, the Southern Nevada Health District, the Clark County Fire Department, the Clark County Division of Code Enforcement, the Clark County Building Department, Clark County Animal Control, and the Clark County Business Licensing Department. Also present tomorrow will be representatives from the office of Clark County Commissioner Chris Giunchigliani.
Representatives of the listed agencies will conduct inspections, issue notices of fines and violations where necessary, and ensure the owners abate all issues within the specified time frames to prevent additional fines and liens.
For additional information media outlets may contact Sergeant Shaun Woodard tomorrow, September 19, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. on the Southwest corner of the intersection of Macher Way and Vegas Drive. Macher Way runs Westbound from Mountain Vista Street, North of Vegas Valley Drive.
