FULTON COUNTY, Ga. – Fulton County police say one person was shot and killed on Wednesday morning inside World Changers International Church. Fulton County Police Cpl. Kay Lester says the suspect remains on the loose after leaving the scene in a black Subaru.
According to authorities, they were originally taking the victim to South Fulton Medical Center, but the ambulance was then diverted to a nearby trauma center as the victim did not survive his injuries.
The church is one of the largest in the U.S. It is led by the Rev. Creflo Dollar, its founder and senior pastor. There was no indication that Dollar was injured.
Lester said she didn’t know how many shots were fired.
