NASA, WHO and the CDC offer clues about what’s in store for our Planet, in advance of 12/21/2012

Recent World events, coupled with statements by NASA, The WHO, and The CDC have led me to examine the overall frequency of potentially catastrophic, Planet changing occurrences on a Global scale, in advance of the coming Planetary alignment of December 21, 2012.

Polar Shift and the Greenland Ice Melt.

The Ice sheet in Greenland has been melting at a record pace this year. The image provided indicates as much. According to NASA, Greenland’s overall surface ice has melted more this year than at any time over the past 30 years. Nearly the entire ice cover of Greenland, from the thin coastal edges to the 2-mile-thick center, has experienced some degree of melting at its surface, according to measurements from three independent satellites analyzed by NASA and university scientists. This fresh water melt has the potential of sending Europe into another Little Ice Age, which last happened during the 16th thru 19th centuries.

This increase in fresh water flow may interrupt the North Atlantic Thermohaline circulation conveyor, which carries warm, tropical water north towards Greenland, where it turns around and forces the colder water down deeper. This allows Europe to enjoy the climate model of the United States, when in reality, Europe is on a longitude more similar to Canada, which is mostly covered in ice and snow 9 or 10 months a year.

With the increased amount of cold fresh water from the increased Greenland ice melt, the warmer, tropical water turns around further south, thereby forcing Europe into a climate that matches its traditional longitudinal reality. This can’t be good.

Polar Ice Melt

A new NASA study appears to show that the older, thicker Artic sea ice is melting faster than the younger, thinner ice around the edges, similar to what’s happening in Greenland.

“The thicker ice, known as multi-year ice, survives through the cyclical summer melt season, when young ice that has formed over winter just as quickly melts again. The rapid disappearance of older ice makes Arctic sea ice even more vulnerable to further decline in the summer,” said Joey Comiso, senior scientist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Md., and author of the study, which was recently published in Journal of Climate.

So the ice at our poles is melting rapidly, and as it melts, the Earths counterbalance is at risk of shifting.

The ice sheet on the Antarctic continent has been melting as well. In 1995 and 2002, respectively, portions of the Larsen B ice shelf collapsed into the sea, as reported by the NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center Scientific Visualization Studio. The continental decline in the ice sheet is evident, and the images provided, courtesy of NASA, are proof positive that changes are afoot.

Earthquakes and other signs.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, there have been 288 earthquakes measuring 2.5 on the Richter scale or greater, in the last 7 days. In the last 30 days, the total is quite a bit more bleak. The 30 day total is 1,784 earthquakes measuring 2.5+. And most of them are in the zone called, “The Pacific Ring of Fire,” an area that circles the Pacific Ocean, from the Northern most area of the northern hemisphere, to the Antarctic Peninsula.

For the Poles to shift to any large degree, it would involve the Earth’s mantle “cracking,” or breaking up, to allow for the iron core of the Earth to shift as well, which will allow the magnetism to follow. Now I’m no scientist, and I’m sure someone will find fault with my last statement, but that’s basically what it boils down to.

Proliferation of diseases and pandemics Worldwide

According to the World Health Organization, WHO, there have been 64 Disease outbreaks Worldwide in 2012, and that’s just for the first 9 months of the year. Following this model, that will mean there will be somewhere around 85 total Disease outbreaks by the end of this year.

In the previous 5 years, there have been 439 total Disease outbreaks Worldwide, a figure rising uncontrollably, which may be due to the overuse of antibiotics, with more virulent strains of these diseases emerging as a result.

The Center for Disease Control, the CDC, offers more on the proliferation of diseases and pandemics Worldwide. View their article on ten disease’s that just won’t quit, here:

These are just some of the apparent signs of the potential Global changes in store for us as the Planetary alignment nears.

Education is the key, so pay attention and prepare.

I would love to see what the “ice melt” was like in the 1930′s, since that was the last time that we had average temps like the last decade. Less than ten years later, we hit the 1940-1970′s cold wave. Cycles are cycles. Since the temps haven’t changed since 1999, I would bet on a downward pressure on the temps rather than upward.

The average lifespan now is 25% longer than the 1930′s thanks to the medical advances, so something has to kill us. More people, more disease.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
