TWO MEN STABBED DURING CONFRONTATION

On Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012 at 8:47 a.m., LVMPD dispatch received a call from a female reporting she was beaten during a confrontation. Officers arrived at the 1500 block of Karen Ave. and located the female victim as well as two males who appeared to be suffering stab wounds. A preliminary investigation indicates the female victim was battered by two males outside her apartment. The female retreated to her apartment where the suspects followed and continued to beat her. The confrontation alerted the victim’s friend who came to her aid. As a result of the confrontation, one of the suspects and the victim’s
friend sustained stab wounds. The friend was transported to UMC Trauma where he was treated for minor injuries. The suspects were identified as 19 year-old Darnell Williams and a 15 year-old male
juvenile. A booking photo of Williams is not yet available. Williams was transported to Sunrise Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released. He was booked at the Clark County Detention Center where he faces charges of Burglary, Battery and Child Abuse.
