LVMPD DETECTIVES INVESTIGATE LATEST HOMICIDE

On November 9, 2012, at approximately 12:22 a.m. the LVMPD Dispatch Center received multiple calls indicating shots had been heard coming from an apartment complex in the area of the 2900 block of Sandy Lane in Northeast Las Vegas. Responding patrol officers discovered a black male adult deceased from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.
A preliminary investigation conducted by Homicide Detectives indicates shortly after the victim had gone to the rear of his apartment to investigate a noise, shots were heard and he was discovered lying on the floor of the apartment. It appears the victim was shot through a window.
