If I was your Girl the Web Series
After the successful debut of its feature length of the same name, “If I was your Girl,” has now become a web series. Now it is set to premiere this Saturday December 15th and the stars of this hit are all making way to show off what happens next in this drama about friends and lovers. It continues from where the movie left off so if you haven’t seen the film fans should watch see just so your not lost when the series premieres.
Creators Coquie Hughes and Jeremy Jones have created a finely scripted feature film and now web series that will leave you wanting more just as the feature left you wanting more and wondering what next. “If I was Your Girl” is more than about lesbians but about four individuals dealing with friendship, love, family, sex and everything else life throws at you.
Finely crafted and with good acting, “If I was Your Girl,” is just what the LGBT community needs as it showcases a part of the black lesbian lifestyle that rarely is seen. Question is though will Hollywood ever give such a show a chance. Still, “If I was Your Girl,” is a hit in Chicago and has fans across the nation as the feature film continues to garner views on YouTube.
Also fans of the movie will be happy to see that all four stars in the feature are back for the web series. Yes that is correct, Temper, Alana, Dana and Kels are all set to return and reprise their roles bringing you more drama, love, sex, friendship, secrets, and everything else that these four women face.
Now as December 15th is just hours away, fans are already lining up to see these four talented women as they prepare to hit the red carpet and premiere the first three episodes’ of “If I was Your Girl.” The screening takes place in Chicago at The Portage Theater at 8pm but the event starts with a lobby party then the screening and afterwards an after party where viewers can hang and chat with the cast.
