Mass Murder, Volcanoes, Earthquakes, Diseases: Are The Mayans Right?

These last few days here in the United States specifically, and on our planet in general, well, have seen a lot of changes.

The horrific massacre of five and six-year-old children in Newtown Connecticut, as well as eight other people dying in the massacre including the reportedly mentally deficient shooter and his mother, has shaken people’s belief system.

We just had the mall shooting in Oregon last week, where two people died, a man and woman, and if that didn’t break your heart enough, the woman was a hospice nurse. For those of you that don’t know, a hospice nurse is someone who tends to you when you’re sick and dying with terminal cancer, or some other debilitating, terminal disease. You can imagine all the things that she does for you and for people similarly afflicted, and generally is referred to as an angel of mercy, and this is almost as bad as killing children. Amazing.

And then there was the Aurora, Colorado movie cinema shooting at the premiere of the brand-new Batman movie. More tragedy on a national level. Disgusting.

These are just a few of the maniacal mass murder incidents from our country recently, I’m sure it is no different in other parts of the world as well. ┬áIt seems to have gotten into people’s heads, people with less brain power, which I describe as the ability to control feelings of stupidity, not acting on them because they are, plainly stupid.

Yesterday, December 17, 2012, there were 177 earthquakes on the planet Earth, registering 5.0 or higher on the Richter scale, 90% of them in the Pacific rim of fire, the most active earthquake zone on our planet.

There were also numerous volcanic eruptions on planet Earth yesterday, the most significant of which was an eruption of the volcano at Tungurahua, Ecuador which remains in full volcanic eruption, complete with ashfall, loud roars, pyroclastic flow, etc.etc. The plumes of volcanic ash have risen as high as 7 kilometers in the sky.

And it has been reported lately that even the Russian people are somewhat upset over the Mayan calendar ending this Friday, and a second or third recent eruption of the Plosky Tolbachik volcano in the Kamchatka Peninsula continues to overwhelm seismometers at other nearby volcanoes including Klyuchevskoi and Bezymianny.

Additionally there have been reports of numerous Volcanic activity in Guatemala, Mexico and Ecuador in the last 4 to 5 days.

Did the Mayans know something that we don’t know.

I have already written about the proliferation of diseases worldwide that are totally out of control this year, West Nile virus outbreaks right here in our own country being the worst in recorded history.

Like it or not, blame whoever you want, naysayers can debate how it happened till they’re blue in the face, global warming is affecting our planet. The ice is melting on our planet a frenetic rate. The Arctic Ocean can be navigated without an icebreaker, Greenland is almost green, the Antarctic ice melt is in full swing, with scientists worrying about the Western Peninsula of Antarctica breaking away into the Weddell Sea.

Very depressing isn’t it, and the Mayan calendar ending this Friday doesn’t necessarily mean that the world will come to an end. From an astrology standpoint the planets do form somewhat of an alignment on Dec.21st, although not perfect. And they do form somewhat of an alignment every December to a smaller degree, however this type of alignment with all seven planets almost in a row has not happened in over 25,000 years, so we shall see. NASA has said it, and I believe it, the world will not end on Friday, December 21st, 2012. However, I do believe a new age of man is upon us, and age where we will have to come to grips with the devastation left in the wake of the misguided indifference of the Industrial Revolution, and the effects and implications of the results.
