Las Vegas: Man dies after being shot in parking lot

On Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at approximately 4:55 a.m. the LVMPD Dispatch Center received a call reporting a man suffering from a gunshot wound had walked into a business located in the 1100 block of East Fremont Street. Arriving patrol officers located the victim who was transported by medical personnel to the UMC Trauma Center where he was later pronounced deceased. A preliminary investigation initiated by Homicide Detectives indicates the victim was shot in the rear parking lot of a business in the 1100 block of East Fremont Street. The suspect could only be described as a black male wearing a dark colored jacket. The identity of the victim as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
