In 2008 we were introduced to a very funny woman. She didn’t know she was being funny, she was just a natural. Some things she said reminded me of the late, and great, Gracie Allen. The greatest difference between them was that Gracie was in real life a very intelligent woman. She worked hard to appear being a “dumb blonde”. When “Caribou Barbie” entered the scene, she didn’t half to act dumb.
Sarah Palin was not alone. Along came another TEA Party crazy, Michelle Bachman. They were so laughable, I and many others, forgot about the craziest of them all, Ann Coulter. She’s still out there, (way out there), spouting her anti-liberal, venomous tirades.
Thursday night on Hannity’s show she once again crossed over a line, for about the 50 thousandth time. She called President Obama the “R” word. People from the Administration to organizers of the “Special Olympics” are demanding an apology to the President and to the thousands of mentally challenged men, women, and children of the country.
We loved to hate her so much, she was on television all the time, even on ‘normal’ TV, not just FOX “Noise”. Bill Maher had her as a frequent guest, until she went too far and hasn’t been seen since. The most fun thing to watch when she is allowed to go on her well known rants is how she can’t stay on topic. She branches out to a wide variety of topics, none of which relate to each other.
I think we need to welcome her back and put Palin and Bachman to rest. They just aren’t half as comical as she is.
