Assistant Chief Vincent Golbeck Retires

Assistant Chief Vincent Golbeck, #4414, will retire today January 15, 2013 from the Dallas Police Department after 32 years of service to the citizens of Dallas. Chief Golbeck rose through the ranks to the position of Assistant Chief and held various assignments throughout his career with DPD. His assignments include Northeast, Northwest, Southwest, Central Patrol, Communications and Crimes Against Persons Divisions. As a Deputy Chief he commanded the Southwest and Central Patrol Divisions. As Assistant Chief he commanded the Patrol Bureau and most recently the Special Projects Bureau.

A retirement party will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 2:00pm in the Donald A. Stafford Media Conference Room at the Jack Evans Police Headquarters located at 1400 S. Lamar St. The media is invited to attend and help celebrate his retirement.
