New York Governor Takes Action

In response to increased gun violence across the nation, New York Governor Andre Cuomo is in talks with the state Assembly and Senate to place restrictions on private gun ownership. He says that the new law will be the most stringent in the nation.

In addition he is asking the Assembly and Senate to impose stiffer penalties for crimes committed with a gun.

In a couple of days, vice-president Joe Biden met with representatives of the NRA to discuss changes in federal law regarding gun control, and reduction in high output magazines.
