Jurassic Park 4 set for a June 2014 release
The fourth installment of the Jurassic Park franchise will hit the big screen June 13, 2014 and with Steven Speilberg’s name attached but not as director but producer instead. The film has yet to get a director but is being written by ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.
Jurassic Park 4 has been years in the making and in an interview producer Frank Marshall said that the fourth installment would still use animatronic dinosaurs.
Still, if the wait for the film seems long, fans of the franchise can soon experience the original Jurassic Park in 3D for a limited release starting April 5.
Also making headlines in Hollywood is talk of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action movie. Ninja Turtles was originally set to be released this Christmas (2013) but has since been pushed back. Now the movie is making way to begin shooting in April with a release of May 16, 2014, the same day Warner Bros is planning to release the new Godzilla film.
As for now, fans can look forward to Transformers director Michael Bay to produce and Battle: Los Angeles director Jonathan Liebesman to direct.
Another movie on the hollywood radar is the latest installment to the Die Hard francise which is set to be released this Valentines’ Day. However, unlike the last Die Hard movie this one will be rated R meaning John McClane is not holding back any punches in this latest installment. In this latest installment fans of the franchise follow John McClane and his son Jack as they battle terrorist forces in Russia.
A Good Day to Die Hard hits theatres this Valentines’ Day.
