On Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at approximately 8:04 p.m. the LVMPD Dispatch Center received a call of a person shot at an apartment complex located in the 300 block of East Harmon Avenue. Arriving patrol officers located an adult male who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. That victim was transported to Sunrise Trauma Medical Center with what appeared to be a non-life threatening injury.
A preliminary investigation indicates three suspects entered the apartment, shots were fired, and the surviving victim was able to leave the residence and call for assistance. Officers conducted a welfare check in that apartment and discovered two
people deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
The motive for this incident appears to be a dispute over property or money. The suspects were described as three black males wearing dark clothing. Investigators believe the suspects and the victims knew each other.
The identity of the two deceased victims as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. Anyone with any information about this incident is urged to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section at 828-
3521 or to remain anonymous contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 385-5555 or on the internet a www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
