Baseball legend and Hall of Famer Stan Musial has died at the age of 92.
Musial played for the St. Louis Cardinals for 22 years. He led the Cardinals to three World Series titles in 1942, 1944 and 1946. His career accomplishments include winning seven National League batting titles, three National League MVP’s and playing in 24 all-star games. Baseball held two all-star games for a few seasons.
The Cardinals and their fans loved Musial so much that they constructed two statues of him outside of Busch Stadium.
The St Louis Cardinals reported that Musial died in his home surrounded by his family.
