Christopher Dorner Manhunt – All Roads Lead To Las Vegas

Leaving Las Vegas can be relatively easy, but when all roads lead to Las Vegas, coming to Las Vegas may not be in the cards for some people, and accused murder Christopher Dorner is no exception.

All indications are that Christopher Dorner will be coming to Las Vegas, and will have a rendezvous with Las Vegas and his own fate sometime in the near future.

Christopher Dorner is accused of murdering 3 people and wounding 2 others in a killing spree that began on Sunday with the murders of Monica Quan and her fiancé, Keith Lawrence. Then on Thursday, Dorner was spotted by 2 LAPD officers on routine security patrol. When they approached Dorner, he opened fire, wounding one of the officers.

Later that day, 2 other officers were patrolling a residential area of Riverside County, when they were allegedly ambushed by Dorner, pulling along side of the police car and opening fire with a rifle. One officer was killed and another was seriously wounded, but is expected to survive.

This Rambo style killing spree was said to have been started initially because of Dorners firing from the LAPD. He felt he had been singled out and treated unfairly over the issue, which lead to his dismissal from the force in 2008.

Dorner recently published a rambling manifesto on Facebook, blaming Monica Quan for his ultimate dismissal from the LAPD. Quan, the daughter of a former LAPD Captain, had represented Dorner during his LAPD disciplinary hearing, which he lost, leading to his termination.

The killings of Monica Quan and her fiancé, Keith Lawrence, were said to be in retaliation for his treatment by LAPD officials, and ultimately his dismissal.

Yesterday, police officials found his burned-out Nissan piock-up truck near Big Bear Lake, CA, 80 miles east of Los Angeles.

That is when the manhunt was expanded to include Arizona and Nevada.

Christopher Dorner has owned a house in Las Vegas since 2007. It is at 724 Loughton Street in the Blue Diamond area of Southern Nevada, in the Mountain’s Edge community of homes.

Federal, State and local officials, in conjunction with authorities from California scoured the area around Dorner’s Las Vegas home yesterday.

The LVMPD SWAT detail was out in full force along with FBI officials. They searched Dorner’s house, and FBI officials took several cboxes away from the Dorner home.

The FBI also had an armored vehicle on scene, along with a LVMPD bomb squad detail.

Many criminals come to Las Vegas every year, thinking they can get lost in the crowds of people and tourists in town on a daily basis. Nothing could be further from the truth. LVMPD has been ever vigilant over the years, tracking and capturing criminals who thought they could blend into the Las Vegas crowd.

Christopher Dorner is believed to be heavily armed and extremely dangerous. As well as being an LAPD policeman, and a trained sniper, he is an Iraqi war veteran of the special forces, and could easily be hiding in any area of Las Vegas, or in the Mountainous regions surrounding Southern Nevada.

This is not what happened, people.. The man spent 3 years exhausting the courts, trying to clear his name, THEN decided to get some reciprocity.. Nothing excuses what this man is doing, but try and report the damn facts, for Christ’s sake, so we can come to a reasonable conclusion as to what the truth is.. IDK about you, but I wanna know if there’s any truth to the allegation put forth in Dorner’s “manifesto”..

Monica Quan was the daughter of the man who represented Dorner. She had no direct connection to the case. Also he was not part of special forces, he was in the naval reserves.
