Frank Ocean not pressing charges against Chris Brown

Grammy nominee Frank Ocean has decided not to press charges against Chris Brown after their brawl a few weeks ago over a parking spot at a Los Angeles studio. Instead, Frank Ocean has stated via his tumblr page that he wants the matter dropped.

On his tumblr page he wrote this: “No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom.”

Initially Frank Ocean wanted to press charges but now has changed his mind and just wants to forgive Chris and move on from this situation.

The incident involved six men and begin when Frank Ocean attempted to block Chris Brown from leaving the parking lot. In just a matter of minutes it would be Frank Ocean and his people saying one thing and Chris Brown and his people saying another.

It has been speculated that Frank started it by approaching Chris Brown and picking a fight because Chris was in his parking spot at his studio. Others have said Chris started the fight and his entourage jumped in to help Chris. However, Chris Brown didn’t stick around for when police arrived. Leaving only Frank Ocean to tell his side of the story to police and for many to speculate what really happened.

This truly is a sad incident for we have two big stars with a lot going for themselves and they decide to pick a fight over a parking space. Now, damage control is in order and Frank Ocean wants to just drop the incident. It is great Frank doesn’t want beef and hopefully Chris can move on as well. Though, his image has already been tarnished with the previous assault and probation for beating Rihanna three years ago.

Now, this incident with Frank Ocean and previously with Drake at WIP nightclub.

It has caused Chris to get away from social media by deleting his instagram and turning over his twitter to an assistant.

As for Frank Ocean, fans can catch him hitting the stage live in Los Angeles at the 55th Annual Grammys.

Perhaps and like Chris did with Rihanna, fans will see a Frank Ocean and Chris Brown collaboration just showing that the beef is over and both parties have moved on from this incident. It worked for Jay-Z and Nas why not for Chris and Frank.
