Abortion Rights: Late-Term Abortion = Death Of Patient In Maryland

Germantown, MD — An identified 29-year-old woman died this week after receiving a late-term abortion at the Germantown reproductive health Center in Germantown, MD. Dr. Leroy Carhart, a nationally known pro-abortion doctor, perform the late-term abortion, on the out-of-state woman who was said to be 33 weeks pregnant at the time of her abortion.
The pro-life group Operation Rescue, had been seen by volunteers from the group every day between Sunday and Wednesday of last week, with witnesses saying she appeared to be pale and weak.
Then on Thursday morning the unidentified 29-year-old woman was taken by her family from the hotel where she had been staying to a nearby hospital emergency room, presenting with angina and abdominal discomfort.
It is rumored that hospital emergency room personnel were unsuccessful in their efforts to contact either Dr. Carhart or the Germantown reproductive help center abortion clinic for additional medical information and assistance needed to properly treat the patient.
Sources say the woman suffered massive internal bleeding into her peritoneum, and her condition went Code 6 times before she finally died from the injuries received previously.
The Maryland State Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an investigation into the woman’s death.
All this just hours after a young New Mexico woman was brought to her local emergency room following abortion care given to her by long time Dr. Carhart associate Dr. Sheila Sella.
A spokesman for Operation Rescue issued this statement.
“The avoidable death of this young woman dramatically illustrates the dangers of 3rd trimester abortions that are done outside of the safety of obstetrical standards,” said Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue and Pro-life Nation. “In 2005, Carhart was also involved in the death of Christin Gilbert, who died after a 3rd trimester abortion in Wichita, Kansas. It is time for medical boards to put an end to these horrifically dangerous and barbaric 3rd trimester abortions. If they do not, we can only expect Carhart and his associates to send more women to the morgue.”

T- you are confusing saving a life with taking a life. Just a slight difference don’t ya thinks?

Thank you for being a poster child for ignorance. If you can’t discern the difference between a breast implant and murdering a baby, you’re beyond hope.
So if a patient dies after undergoing a risky heart transplant, do we ban heart transplants everywhere? Or if a woman dies after having an elective breast augmentation (a risky and 100% unnecessary surgical procedure), can we ban breast augmentation, too? After all, no woman really chooses breast augmentation, she’s coerced by dangerous advertizing media.
