Las Vegas: Detectives seek public's assistance identifying burglary suspects

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in two separate incidents involving the theft of animals. On January 27, 2013 at approximately 11:46 p.m. patrol officers responded to a burglary call in the 6800 block of South Rainbow Boulevard. Arriving officers discovered the business had been broken into and several high price dogs were stolen. The stolen dogs were described as two white French Bulldog puppies, a gray Schnauzer puppy and a black Yorkshire Terrier puppy.

A second incident was reported on January 28, 2013 at approximately 3:59 a.m. in the 6900 block of South Decatur Boulevard. Several expensive exotic birds were reported missing. The stolen birds were described as a white and yellow colored Cockatoo, a red Macaw with green wings, a yellow and orange Macaw, and a green, blue, and gold Macaw which is described as having missing claws on the left foot. Video surveillance indicates one suspect is an unknown race male in his late teens to early twenties. He wore a light colored hooded sweatshirt, denim shorts and a white baseball hat.
The second suspect is described as an unknown race male in his late teens to early twenties. He wore a light colored long- sleeved shirt, light colored basket ball shorts and a white baseball hat.
