Las Vegas: Homicide detectives investigate case of body found in burning home

On Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at approximately 2:35 a.m. LVMPD Patrol Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1800 block of Glistening Sands Drive in response to a call from the Clark County Fire Department. Firefighters had responded to a house fire at that location a short time earlier. The body of a deceased person had been discovered in the garage area of the residence and the circumstances appeared suspicious.
LVMPD Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and are currently investigating. As of this release, no suspects have been identified. The identity of the deceased person as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
