Las Vegas: Suspect arrested on murder of two people in their apartment

On Sunday, February 3, 2013 at approximately 9:05 a.m. the LVMPD Dispatch Center received numerous calls of possible shots fired inside of an apartment located in the 2100 block of South Paradise Road. Arriving patrol officers located an adult male and an adult female inside the apartment who were both deceased from apparent multiple gunshot wounds. A preliminary investigation initiated by LVMPD Homicide Detectives indicated a black male adult was seen leaving the area of the victims’ apartment just after the shots were heard. No arrests have been made as of the time of this release.
The identities of the victims as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. On February 4, 2013 at approximately 4:00 p.m. homicide detectives located and arrested the person suspected of committing these crimes in the 2000 block of N. Nellis Blvd. Keith Junior Barlow is currently housed at CCDC and is facing the following charges:
• 1st
Degree Murder – 2 counts
• Burglary While Possessing a Firearm or Deadly Weapon
• Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person- 2 counts
• Possession Stun Gun/Device by a Prohibited Person
• Assault with a Deadly Weapon
• Domestic Battery
