Las Vegas: Two VIctims Critical Injures in garage shooting

On Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at approximately 12:05 a.m. the LVMPD Dispatch Center received calls of a person shot in a parking garage located in the 3700 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. Arriving patrol officers located one victim near the street in front of the elevator lobby. That victim was suffering an apparent minor gunshot wound and remained on the scene.
Another victim was located inside the elevator lobby, and a third victim was located inside of an elevator on the fifth floor of the parking garage. Both of these victims were suffering apparent gunshot wounds and were transported by medical personnel to the UMC Trauma Center with what appeared to be life-threatening injuries.
A preliminary investigation initiated by LVMPD Violent Crimes Detectives indicates the victims may have been involved in a verbal altercation a short time before midnight with another group of people that included the suspects. The initial investigation also indicates this was not a random act of violence. It is believed the victims and the suspects knew each other and were involved in an ongoing dispute. Anyone with any information about this event is urged to contact the LVMPD Violent
