Queen Latifah signs deal with Netflix

Famed actor, rapper and singer Queen Latifah continues to add to her accomplishments and legacy. Recently, the rapper/singer turned actor signed a deal with Netflix that will allow her Flavor Unit Entertainment company to have it’s films shown through the Netflix brand.

Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment company has already released such films as “Bringing Down The House”, “Beauty Shop”, and “Just Wright,” which all starred the Queen herself.

Next to be produced by Flavor Unit Entertainment are “House Of Bodies” starring Terrence Howard and “Percentage” starring Ving Rhames and Macy Gray.

Flavor Unit Entertainment is a production company that Queen Latifah started with business partner Shakim Compere. Originally The Flavor Unit Entertainment company was based out of New Jersey it was soon moved to Miami where it is headquartered today.

“Strong brand and the perfect place to showcase our projects,” Queen Latifah said of the partnership between her company Flavor Unit Entertainment and Netflix.
