occurred in early October of 2012. Aramis McKinzie, 18, of the 1400 block of South Canal, Garlin Minor, 19, of the 600 block of East 95th Street, and Akeem L. Simmons, 20, of the 1400 block of East 68th Street, were each charged with First Degree Murder.
On October 12, 2012, in the 6800 block of South East End Avenue, at approximately 7:15 p.m., the 74-year-old victim was sitting outside when shots rang out. On February 28, 2013, officers from the Chicago Police Gang Investigation Division arrested the three offenders after discovering vital information implicating them in the murder of the victim.
McKinzie, Minor, and Simmons are expected to appear in Central Bond Court, 2600 South
