Demi Moore Sought Alimony from Ashton Kutcher

Why Demi Moore Sought Alimony from Ashton Kutcher

After six years of marriage, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher separated in November of 2011.  This week Moore filed for divorce.  TMZ is reporting that she was “really hurt” by Kutcher who she called a “bad husband”.  She told TMZ that she is asking for “spousal support”.  She refused to use the word ‘revenge’, but her intent was clear.

Reports from friends say a settlement is near, but it will not include spousal support.  Moore has more wealth than Kutcher, and a judge would never allow alimony.

The couple split after Kutcher allegedly had an affair with a 23 year old woman on the evening of their wedding anniversary.  Kutcher, who filed his papers in December, has since gone on to have a very public romance with his former “That 70s Show” co-star, Mila Kunis.

Despite his betrayal, Kutcher doesn’t think he owes Moore anything.

“Ashton made a lot of money after marrying Demi — a lot more than she made– but despite him becoming just as famous through her, he believes he doesn’t owe her that much,” a source told the New York Post.

The actor is reportedly worth $140 million, while his ex is worth $150 million.

If this kid and his mother couldn’t make it, who can?

The Patriots would be fine without Gronk. This takes nothing away from the man who has been the prototype for the revolution the tight end position has underwent in recent years.
