Miranda Kerr Injured in LA Freeway Collision By Suspected DUI Driver

Supermodel Miranda Kerr was injured Monday in a car accident on an LA freeway, according to her publicist.

Her injuries have led her to wear a neck brace.

The Victoria’s Secret model was said to have suffered neck and back injuries, as well as with whiplash as a result of the accident.

Miranda Kerr is married to Lord of the Rings actor Orlando Bloom, and they have a 2-year-old son named Flynn, neither of which were in the car at the time of the accident.

“She is in a lot of pain, but really we are just glad it was not more serious,” her assistant told Australia’s 9 news. “[Her husband, Orlando is] taking very good care of her. He’s an amazing husband. Luckily, Flynn wasn’t in the car.”

TMZ is reporting that there are rumors that the other driver may have been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, but that has yet to be confirmed.

This latest accident must have brought back memories of a tragic accident Miranda was in when she was 15 years old, the one in which her boyfriend died.

Her son Flynn’s middle name is Christopher, which is the name of her boyfriend who died in the tragic car accident years earlier.
