Kate Middleton, the now, Duchess of Cambridge is the Commonwealths, striking natural, girl next door, beauty, that the Swiss Alps are no match for. Kate Middleton, came from middle class, and is now mixing it with the best of them. She has moved through the classes with ease. Nice to know its possible, and it can happen- the story tale that is!
Moving on to our five month pregnant princess, my how the time has flown. It only feels like yesterday, they made their announcement, of the Commonwealths upcoming family member.
As dutiful as she is to her new position, her boe, that is Prince William, or Wills as she likes to call him. She is just as dutiful to their close friend and polo player Mark Tomlinson, who married Olympic equestrian Laura Bechtolsheimer in the town of Arosa. Pictured right, with her father.
Looking very elegant and poised, she managed to make her way through the snow, very gingerly we’ve been informed, in heels, without incident, thank goodness.
The world may be desperate for any peek of Kate Middleton’s ever-growing baby bump, but it appears that this weekend, the Duchess of Cambridge kept her Royal Foetus away from prying eyes, so they would instead focus on the wedding she was attending in Arosa, Switzerland!
Dressed in a pale coat accentuated with brown fur trim, a familiar James Lock hat and a Max Mara dress she’s wore previously underneath, an expectant Kate was looking breathtaking as usual. Her husband William, in traditional tailcoat, had previously arrived due to his role as an usher at the ceremony.
As guests arrived, police cordoned off an area so locals could catch a glimpse. “There was a big crowd there, and the police closed the street.”
The couple are among 250 guests, including the royals’ close friends James Meade and fiancée Laura Marsham, Guy Pelly and Olivia Hunt.
The weekend getaway comes after a low key week for Kate, who walked her dog Lupo in Hyde park with a friend on Monday and was later seen shopping for maternity clothes, including floral Lovestruck dress, at TopShop. She’ll be back in the spotlight on Tuesday, when she’s scheduled to make an official appearance in Grimsby, England.
Prince William and Harry, often spend summer afternoons playing polo with groom Mark Tomlinson, who attended Marlborough College with Kate. Mark’s bride was part of the London 2012 Olympics team, that also included William and Harry’s cousin Zara Phillips.
The family made a weekend of the trip – while William and Harry hit the slopes on Friday, Kate, who’s due in July, was spotted strolling with a sled in her hands rather than ski poles. The Pregnant Duchess of Cambridge, wore shades and clutched a sledge as she kept warm in a snug jacket and boots.
A decision is expected tomorrow on whether the Queen will be well enough to travel to Rome on Wednesday for a two-day visit. She had to cancel an engagement in Swansea on Saturday as she was suffering from gastroenteritis.
