Las Vegas: Domestic dispute leaves two dead and one critical injured

Domestic dispute results in shooting leaving two dead and one critical injured

On March 29, 2013 at approximately 8:30 p.m., the LVMPD Dispatch Center received several calls reporting gunshots followed by a male jumping from a second story balcony in the area of the 8000 block of W. Russell Road, in Las Vegas. Officers arrived at the scene and discovered a male lying in some bushes bleeding from apparent gunshots.
SWAT Officers responded to the scene and made entry into the apartment where they discovered a deceased adult female with apparent gunshot wounds and a deceased adult male with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The investigation by the LVMPD Homicide Section into this incident indicates the suspect came home to find his wife and the male victim inside the apartment. The suspect began to fire several gunshots inside the apartment striking the victim as he jumped from the second story balcony. The victim was transported to UMC Trauma
where he underwent surgery and is expected to survive.
The identity of the victims as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
