Las Vegas: Man found deceased after confrontation

MAN FOUND DECEASED AFTER  CONFRONTATION SUSPECT IN CUSTODYSUSPECT IN CUSTODYOn March 19, 2013 at approximately 1:51 a.m. the LVMPD Dispatch Center received
several calls indicating a man had possibly been stabbed in an apartment located in the 3600 block of South Arville Street. Arriving patrol officers located an adult male inside of the apartment deceased from apparent stab wounds.
As a result of the preliminary investigation initiated by LVMPD Homicide Detectives, 25-year-old Quincy Taylor of Las Vegas was arrested in connection with this crime. It was determined Taylor and the victim were acquainted with each other and had been involved in a physical altercation just prior to the victim being discovered deceased.
Taylor has been charged with one count of Murder with a Deadly Weapon and one count of Burglary. His booking photo accompanies this release. The identity of the victim as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
