Los Angeles: Fatal motorcyclist accident

Los Angeles: On Friday, March 1, 2013, around 7:30 a.m., Valley Traffic Division officers, were called to investigate a fatal traffic collision that occurred on Roscoe Boulevard, at Yarmouth Avenue, in the community of Northridge.

The preliminary investigation showed that the collision occurred when 37-year-old, Francisco Juarez, was driving a 2006 Ford van, westbound on Roscoe Boulevard. Francisco Juarez attempted to make a left turn onto southbound, Yarmouth Avenue and crossed into the path of Jerramy Barrios’ who was riding a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle, and traveling eastbound on Roscoe Boulevard. The collision that followed, critically injured Jerramy Barrios.

Los Angeles City Fire paramedics, transported Jerramy Barrios to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Jerramy Barrios was a 37-year-old resident of Reseda. FranciscoJuares was not injured in the collision.
