Tour Bus Crash Kills Two, Injures 14

23 Seton Hill lacrosse players and 3 coaches were aboard a tour bus when it reportedly went off the road and crashed into a tree, according to Pennsylvania Turnpike spokeswoman Renee Colborn.  The accident happened near Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Colborn said that the bus driver died and 14 passengers were hospitalized, some with serious injuries. Three were taken to the hospital in helicopters.  The accident occurred around 9a.m.

State police are investigating the accident, as well as environmental agencies because of a diesel spill.

The bus operator, Mlaker Charter & Tours, of Davidsville, Pa., sent investigators to the scene, company dispatcher Kelly Hay said.
