Atlanta: Vehicle drives into sidewalk pinning 3 pedestrians
On today’s date, shortly after 2:00 am, Robby Manley was driving a red 67 Camero southbound on Flat Shoals Rd. As he was laying drags he lost control of the vehicle and drove onto the sidewalk in front of the bar called The Asylum. The vehicle struck 3 males on the sidewalk and pinned one of them for an instant, against the building. There was significant damage to the building as well as to the vehicle. Once the vehicle came to a stop, Mr. Manley ran around the corner and threw his keys. He was located and arrested. The keys were located. Two of the victims were transported to Grady with leg injuries, one treated on scene and released. Mr. Manley was charged with DUI, Failure to Render Aid, Failure to Maintain Lane, Hit and Run, as well as several other charges. Mr. Manley complained of pain in his foot and was transported to Grady Detention.
